The word “friend” is used very commonly in the body of Christ and in society as a whole, but what we call friendship is often different from the Father’s definition and intention of friendship. A friend is not merely someone you spend a little time with at work or someone you run into around the neighborhood every now and then. It is more than that. Friendship is a covenant word. It is a relationship of commitment, loyalty and demand. A true covenant relationship will demand attention, sacrifice and change. To experience covenant friendship we will have to make some changes in our lives to adjust to those God connects us to. As members of His body, we must study His Word to gain a clearer understanding of covenant friendship and seek to walk in it in our individual lives.
In this teaching series you will learn:
- What true covenant friendship is
- The stages of covenant friendship
- The enemies to covenant friendship
- And more
