Excuses are the crutches of the uncommitted. They’re always the language of victims. Whenever you find someone who is not committed to a marriage, a job, a ministry, etc, you will always find the crutch of an excuse.  The Holy Spirit wants to break and remove every crutch in our lives so that we will lean and depend upon Him to accomplish what He desires in our lives. The power, purpose, promises and glory of God never manifest in the life of people that operate in excuses. When you and I walk in excuses we are seeking to shift the blame or responsibility of that thing from ourselves to someone or something. We must all determine in our hearts that there are no good excuses.
